I have a 2 ft by 7 ft garden of Chrysanthemuns that is several years old. The plants have grown together and the individual colors have changed to tan/bronze. Can they be returned to their original color, or should I throw them away and start over. |
It sounds as though the most vigorous plants have taken over the bed and crowded out the others. It's probably time to replant with the colors of your choice. It's called survival of the fittest, and happens with many perennials; iris are especially prone to this, as are chrysanthemums. |
