How do we level a bird bath and have it stay level with all the dumping of the water all winter and the ground freezing and heaving up? We have it sitting on large round circle stones and the heated bird bath was hard to keep filled with it sitting crooked..thank you.

It is the heaving soil that is causing the problem so you may need to excavate the area beneath the birdbath and fill it with gravel. The gravel will have enough space between the rocks to keep the entire area from heaving and making the water spill from the birdbath. After setting the gravel and making it level, place the circle stones on top and then set your birdbath on top of the circle stones. I think it will make a difference. Best wishes with your birdbath!
