Some of the easiest care plants for shade are Texas natives. Here are a few to consider:

Cardinal Flower; Inland Sea Oats; Cedar Sage Beautyberry; Lyre Leaf Sage Mountain Sage; Pigeonberry Thoroughwort; Prairie Phlox Purple Winecup; Red Columbine White Winecup; Violet Katie Petunia; Turk's Cap River Fern. Some more traditional shade loving plants include hosta, foxglove, lobellia, and impatiens. Enjoy yoru garden!
