I planted the Dwarf Cannas in pots that are kept inside. I bought them about two months ago, they have beautiful green leaves and stalks but no flowers yet. I give them plenty of light, water, and fertilizer (10-15-10) but still no flowers. What more do I have to do to get them to bloom?

Unless you have the cannas in a greenhouse that gets full sun all day, insufficient light could be the problem. They need full sun and prefer deep, fertilie soil that remains consistently moist but not wet. It is preferable to use a slow-acting form of nitrogen such as that in organic matter, rather than a soluble fertilizer. (Nitrogen can encourage the growth of foliage at the expense of flowers.)
