why can't I keep tulips coming back. I have no trouble with any other bulbs.

Tulips need a period of chilling in order to rest and rebloom. It may be that you will need to dig your tulips each fall, refrigerate them until January and then replant them in order to get them to bloom. Most other bulbs can do without the pronounced chilling period, but tulips are especially sensitive to warmth. Hope this information helps!
