Sun or Shade - Knowledgebase Question

Do they have to be in the sun or shade. I was told shade, but It only bloomed a little last spring. Thanks.

Bleeding hearts will grow in full shade or part sun (a few hours of morning sun). Full sun is just too hot for them. Enjoy your garden!
