Last spring I planted knockout roses purchased from Home Depot.They really need prunning or trimming. When will it safe to do this. Knoxville Tn. tks, cathy

It is never too late (or too early) to prune knockout roses! Pruning encourages new growth so trimming everything back a bit in the spring will result in lots of new stems and branches, and more flowers. Now is a perfect time to prune!
