The Q&A Archives: KnockOut Roses

Question: Last spring I planted knockout roses purchased from Home Depot. They really need prunning or trimming. When will it safe to do this. Knoxville Tn. tks, cathy

Answer: It is never too late (or too early) to prune knockout roses! Pruning encourages new growth so trimming everything back a bit in the spring will result in lots of new stems and branches, and more flowers. Now is a perfect time to prune!
