I have gardenia bush that is in shade-never blooms or grows.Does it need to be moved to sunny area?

Gardenias bloom best when they receive a few hours of morning sunshine and then protection from hot afternoon sun. If you can move your plant, I think you will see a great improvement in its ability to flower. Best wishes with your gardenia!
