Our well water has a lot of sulfer in it. Someone told me it can build up in your soil if used to water my garden and that plants will not grow as well. This seems like it may be the case. What can I do about this? We live in a rural area on our own farm and own the well. |
Excess sulfur can cause problems with some plants but there's an easy solution. Simply flood the lawn and planting beds periodically to leach out the excess minerals. Flooding will lift the sulfur out of the soil and float it away. Best wishes with your landscape! |
