I have a palm tree in my garden & noticed it was full of webs, I went to Home Depot & bought a product, as I was spaying, I noticed a number of very large spiders running, please help, should I cut down the tree?

Spiders like to hide in dry, dark places so the easiest way to discourage them is to periodically hose down your palm. Once a week or so you can wet the fronds and the trunk with the hose to discourage spiders from living in the nooks and crannies of your palm. I'd be concerned about using a chemical spray. Your palm could be damaged by the ingredients in the insecticide. Just wash it down and the spiders will find other places to live.
