Cannot get St. Augustine to grow in one area of our yard. Gets some sun in part of the area and lots of sun in the other. Have had it sodded, treated and nothing has helped. Help!!

Not many grasses will grow in areas that are partly shaded. St. Augustine, in fact, will refuse to grow without all day sunshine. You may want to redesign your landscape to incorporate a planting bed in that area and plant shrubs or perennials, or grow a groundcover plant instead of grass. Wish I had more solutions for you!
