| My home was landscaped about 10 years ago. Bulbs come up each spring but no flowers. Can I revive them? |
| If you have never dug and divided your bulbs, now is the time. Overcrowded bulbs will stop flowering because they are competing for nutrients and moisture. Dig the bed and space the bulbs 4-6 inches apart so they each have some elbow room. Wait until the foliage is brown and withered and then dig up each bulb. Those you don't have room to replant in the bed can be given away or planted in other areas of your garden. I think they will bloom for you next spring. Enjoy! |
