The Q&A Archives: Grapefruit Tree

Question: How long does it takes for a grapefruit tree to flower?

Answer: Citrus trees normally begin flowering when they are about 4 years old. Size makes a difference - the tree needs to have enough foliage to support both the tree and the developing fruit. Typically that's about 3-4' tall or 3-4 years of age.
