Is it true that if the root of your tree starts to rise that means its dying? |
Not at all. Some trees naturally develop roots above ground and others do not. If a tree that does not normally develop large surface roots is producing one, it could be that as the root was growing outward it came upon a barrier and began to grow upward, where it breached the surface and continued to grow. Surface roots and above ground roots are normally not an indication of a dying tree. |
