my rose bushes only bloom one time all year. I deadhead them, and still I only get 4-5 more flowers(total) and they are much smaller and less fragrant. What can I do to get them to bloom all summer?

Some roses only bloom once a year and others are repeat bloomers. I think you have the kinds of roses that only bloom once and there's nothing you can do to encourage more flowers. You may want to replace them with repeat blooming roses or at least introduce some new rose bushes into your garden so you will have additional roses all summer long.
