Unless your coral bark maple is not growing well or has off-color foliage, there is no need to fertilize. You can simply place an organic mulch beneath the tree. As the mulch decomposes it will release nutrients to the roots of the tree to maintain good health. If the maple is not growing well or looks like it needs a boost, you can use a fertilizer formulated for trees. Usually an 8-8-8 formula. Best wishes with your coral bark maple!
