'Atropurpurea' (Crmison Pygmy red Japanese barberry), medium growth rate, full sun, rounded shape, 3-6' tall and wide. Buxus microphylla (littleleaf boxwood) slow growing, sun to part shade, compact rounded shape 3-4' tall and wide. Buxus sempervirens (true dwarf boxwwod), very slow growing, 3-4' tall, 4-5' wide. Chaenomeles japonica (Japanese flowering quince), sun to part shade with a rounded growth habit; 3-4' tall and wide. Cotoneaster dammeri (bearberry cotoneaster) medium growth rate, full sun, white flowers and red fruit, grows 1-2' tall and 3-5' wide. Daphne odora (Winter Daphne), slow growth rate, rounded habit, 2-3' tall and wide; fragrant winter flowers. Deutzia gracilis (slender deutzia) slow growth rate, sun or part shade, grows 2-3' tall, 3-4' wide. Euonymus japonicus (dwarf japanese euonymus) fast growth rate, sun or shade, oval form, grows 2-3' tall and wide. Hope one of these suggestions is just right for your landscape. |
