The Q&A Archives: Moles

Question: How do you get rid of moles in the lawn, tried smoke bombs, repelent and still have them.

Answer: Gophers and moles are really hard to eradicate. Even if you succeed in getting rid of them in your yard, they may come visiting from neighboring yards. Trapping is the only sure way of reducing the population. If it's any consolation, gophers and moles appreciate nice soil, full of organic matter and insects. It's a compliment to your gardening skills that gophers and moles have taken up residence in your yard. You can trap them if you find a main tunnel and keep setting your trap. It takes a lot of patience, but it can be done.

Good luck!
