The Q&A Archives: my garden

Question: can you grow strawberries next to cucumbers? I've heard the cucumbers will give the berries a bad taste.

Answer: You can grow strawberries next to cucumbers without changing the taste of either plant. In fact, the flowering patterns of each plant will most likely attract a lot of pollinating insects which should result in lots of berries and lots of cukes. Best wishes with your plants!
