I hav bermuda grass I would like to eliminate and replace with fescue. I am in Charlotte NC and do not like to tendon spredad with berumuda. How can I get rid of the bermuda, I have tried almost everything but it just keeps coming back.

There is no simple way to get rid of the bermuda. Digging out the Bermuda and reseeding with fescue is one approach, withholding water until the bermuda dies out is another approach, and using a Bermuda grass herbicide (such as RoundUp)is another. Reseeding will be necessary once you've gotten rid of the Bermuda. Best wishes with your project!
