The Q&A Archives: Pond Plants

Question: I have an ornamental pond and I would like to get plants. What should temperature be before I can put plants in the pond. It is a new pond installed over the winter. I am in the Nashville, tn area.

Answer: The water should be above 50F before introducing plants or fish. Warmer is better, but 50F minimum will work for your new plants. Enjoy your new pond!
