It's late March in Houston, and I was thinking to divide up a very large Agapantha bush/plant, to update and adjust our front yard. Is it too soon?

Now is a good time to divide your agapanthus. If it is very large, you might want to recruit some help. The roots will be intertwined and difficult to cut through. But, as long as each division has both roots and green stems attached, it will survive the division and grow into a nice, healthy plant. Good luck with your project!
