The best way is to find the main tube and plug in additional feeder tubes so you can add emitters. If you simply tap into the tube that already has one emitter, you will be getting the same amount of water but directing it to two or more different places. So, carefully remove the soil from the tubing that has the emitter, following it back to the main tube. Insert several new feeder tubes and set them around the tree, then cover them with soil. That should solve the problem.
