WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO PREVENT oR REMOVE DANDYLIONS FROM IRIS ? THEY ARE GROWING AROUND THE BULBS

If the bed is overrun with dandelions, the best course of action is to dig all the iris, remove the dandelions roots and all and then replant the iris. After replanting, mulch over the soil with 2-3 inches of organic mulch to help suppress future weeds. If there are only a few dandelions in the bed, hand digging is the best method of control.
