Question: I have a type of fungus on my lawn that I have tryed every product I know, and can't rid myself of it. It looks like Hair and kills the lawn I dont think it is from overly wet ground or from too much shade .I fertalize every spring and fall with scotts products .I have used fuingisides and regulary airare my lawn and gupsum and lime my lawn .what can I do?

Answer: If you have tried absolutely everything, I think it is time to have the turf problem looked at by the plant pathologists at Lancaster County Cooperative Extension office (1383 Arcadia Road, Room 140, Lancaster, PA 17601-3184, Phone: 717-394-6851). You may be able to mail in a sample for diagnosis. Once the problem has been positively identified you will be given suggestions for treatment/control. Best wishes with your lawn!
