We are putting on a room and I need to move my plants this year after they are finished blooming so we can dig next year. I would like some info on some of my plants. I have to move hibiscus , is it hardy enough to move, can i divide it , and is there any special prep I need to do to the next site ?

You should be able to transplant a hibiscus without problem. Generally they have only one main stem so they are difficult to divide. Just cut the plant back to make it easier to handle and then either put it in the new planting hole or set it in a container until you can plant it in its new permanent spot. Good luck with the move!
