The Q&A Archives: Pesky Birds

Question: I have a blueberry bush and the birds eat everything before they are fully ripe. What do I do?

Answer: Birdnetting will keep the birds at bay. Don't drape it over your plants, though, or they will peck the fruit. Instead drive 4 stakes around each plant and drape the bird netting over the stakes. Make sure the netting rests several inches away from the fruit!
