| I applaud your idea of designing an edible garden! In zone 7 you can grow asparagus, blackberries, blueberries, boysenberries, grapes, raspberries, strawberries, and rhubarb. Add your favorite vegetables and some of these edible flowers: African Blue Basil, Rose Geranium, Bee Balm, Conehead Thyme, Pineapple Sage, and Lavender and you can nibble your way through the garden and still have plenty left over for the rest of your family.
