We will be renovating our house within the next 3-5 years. What kind of shrub can I put in next to my house that I can move at a later date?

You can move any shrub after it is planted but to make things really easy, plant the shrub in a large (15-gallon) nursery container and simply set the container in the ground instead of planting the shrub. The large container will allow for root growth and when it is time to move, you can just pull the container out of the ground. Don't try this with smaller containers - the root system will need room to grow.
