The Q&A Archives: soil admendments

Question: how can I adjust my soils acidy to help my four year old hydrangea more helthy?

Answer: If you want to increase the acidity level, add peat moss to the soil or use ground rock sulfur. I usually just side dress my hydrangea with a peat moss mulch and feed it an acidified fertilizer such as Miracid. Best wishes with your hydrangea!
