I'M LOOKING TO PLANT SOMETHING THAT WILL GROW QUICKLY AND GIVE PRIVACY BETWEEN MY NEIGHBORS YARD AND MINE. THEY CUT DOWN TREES ON THEIR PROPERTY AND MINE AND THEN PUT IN A POOL. I WANT SOMETHING TO HELP GIVE ME BACK THE PRIVACY I HAD WITHOUT HAVING TO PUT UP A FENCE.

Some fairly easy care plants to consider for an informal mixed hedge planting would be privet, lilac, spirea, forsythia, shrubby dogwoods, Rose of Sharon (Hibiscus syriacus) and Burkwood viburnum. They can grow to 8 or 10 feet which is usually tall enough to create a good screen.
