Hi - I would like to move some of my hybrid lilies to another location. They have multiplied since I planted them a few years ago, and now its too crowded where they are. Can you please tell me when is the best time to do this and/or any specifics/precautions about doing this? Thank you, -Erika

Early spring is the best time to dig and divide your lilies. I use two garden forks to carefully lift the bulbs, starting at one edge of the bed and working toward the center. It's not easy but it sure is rewarding when the transplanted bulbs begin to grow and flower. Best wishes with your project!
