I just purchase a new home and I was taking a look at the backyard lawn. A patch of it about 10x10 is overrun by the neighbor vines. I am not familar with way kind. How do I get rid of it. Thanks

Since the vine is actually growing on the neighbor's property you're only choice is to prune it down at the property line and then pull it up out of the lawn area. Any herbicide you use to kill it on your property could travel over to your neighbor's place and that can cause some problems in the future. Just cut the vines on your side of the property line and remove the vines from your property.
