Last year I planted Burpee daffodils around the base of a mountain ash tree. I used bulb booster when planting. The bulbs came up only about six inches high and buds appeared, but never bloomed. I picked the bud tore it apart and nothing was inside.

Usually bulbs don't grow and bloom well if they've had too little chilling, or if they're planted so late in the season that roots don't have time to grow before the ground freezes. If you feel they had plenty of time for chilling and root formation, write back and we'll have Burpee Customer Service help you out.
