The Q&A Archives: make soil

Question: I would like to remove the old grass and put white stones all around instead of grass how can I do it.

Answer: In a nutshell, for a path I'd dig out the exisiting grass, lay weed barrier down to prevent grass and weeds from growing through the stones, and cover it with the white stones. You may want to line the edges of the paths with large stones or bricks or some other border to keep the stones in the path. Nothing beats an inviting path through a garden!
