Hi, In the last few years I planted approx. 7 different rose bushes in a bed on the west side of the house, partially shadowed by some old evergreens. This year I will have another bed for either flowers or vegetables on the east side of the house. Would this new bed be a better place for my roses? Thank you. |
Roses grow and flower best when they get 6-8 hours of direct sunshine. If the new bed can provide that, go ahead and plant your new roses there. If there is less sunshine, you may have to find a different garden spot for a new rose bed. Best wishes with your garden! |
