Bunnies can be a real problem in the garden and the only really effective way to protect your plants is to fence them in. To be most effective, a 1" chicken wire fence needs to be 2 feet high and buried at least 6 inches deep around your veggie garden. There are a number of animal repellent sprays available: 'Get Away' and 'Deer Away' are available from Home Depot. 'Deer Away' is efffective in deterring both deer and rabbits and lasts 7-10 days without washing off. Rather than spray the plants, try coating the soil along the perimeter of the garden. Good luck with your garden!
