I have a little courtyard in front of the house which is getting shade from the trees. It catches the sun at noon and part of afternoon sun. What colorfulflowers can I plant that can enhance my house front view?

Lots of colorful perennials will grow in part sun/part shade. Here are a few suggestions:
Japanese Anemone, Astilbe, Balloon Flower, False Indigo, Bellflower, Columbine,
Coralbell, Daylily, Phlox, Geranium, Globe Thistle, Wild Spirea, Lady's Mantle.
