My grape-vines have grownout of shape, and producing very little crops annually. What how do I cut them aback?

Grape quality depends upon good pruning, which is done during the dormant season. (In your area that will be January - March.) Here are two resources you will find helpful in pruning your grapes: Sunset Western Garden Book, ISBN# 0-376-03851-9, and Pruning, by Christopher Brickell, ISBN# 0-671-65841-7. Both references have line drawings to help guide you in your pruning.
