While I know that the best time to seed is the fall, I wanted to get a jump start and seed this early sping. (now) I had cancelled a lawn service program but they came for the first visit anyways and put weed killer down. How long should I wait to put the seed down, or do I definately have to wait till fall now that their is weed killer in the lawn?

The waiting period depends upon what chemical they used, but the usual waiting time is 2-3 weeks. Your lawn service company should be able to tell you what they used and what the waiting period might be. If it's more than 2-3 weeks, you may have to wait until fall to reseed.
