We have a pool in yard with river rock around it. We put black weed paper when we first put them. The weeds are now taking over the rocks. Is there anything else we can put under the river rock to keep the weeds away? |
The longest lasting product is weed barrier, a spun polyester fabric with tiny holes to allow water penetration. To double the protection, sprinkle a pre-emergent herbicide (such as Preen) on the bare soil and then lay down the weed barrier and cover it with rocks. An option is to use thick black plastic on the ground and then place your rock on top. |
