As you've discovered, Round Up is a vegetation killer and will kill anything it touches. The good news is that it degrades quickly in the presence of sunlight and fresh air. So, you will be able to reseed in about 3 weeks. Start by raking out all the dead grass and roots. Broadcast your seeds and cover them with a thin layer of compost or peat moss to keep hungry birds from feasting and to keep the seeds moist. Water as often as necessary to keep the seeded area moist. The grass seeds should germinate in about 10 days. Good luck with your lawn.
