What flowers would be good for hanging baskets that only get evening sun. Are any drought tolerant?

Not many plants suitable for hanging baskets are drought tolerant. Containers dry out very quickly in the summer time so the best approach is to expect to water every day. If, in the morning, you stick your finger into the soil and it is still moist, it won't need to be watered until the following morning. But do remember to check the plants daily. Some to plant this time of the year include trailing petunias, fan flower, impatiens, wishbone flower, narrow leaved zinnia, dwarf trailing sweet potato (large container), begonias, and purslane/portulaca.
