The Q&A Archives: container flower pots

Question: I want flowers that have long blooming season, and can tolerate full sun. These pots will around the pool area. HELP!!!

Answer: Plants in containers in the hot Georgia sun will need to be heat and drought tolerant and able to deal with reflected heat from a patio or deck. That limits your choices to the most drought tolerant plants available. Choose from:
Artemisia; Asclepias (Butterfly Weed); Beebalm; California Poppy ;Campis (Trumpet vine); Coreopsis; Cosmos; Daylily ;Echinacea Coneflower; Euphorbia; Gaillardia; Goldenrod ;Greek oregano; Heliopsis; Kniphofia (Red Hot Poker); Lamb?s Ears; Lavender. Best wishes with your container garden!
