Do you need two pecan trees in your yard in order to get pecans on your tree?

Pecans are, for the most part, self-fertile. But, if you have a second tree for cross pollination, you will get a heavier crop. If anyone in your neighborhood has a pecan tree, your pecan can benefit from that one and you will only need one tree in your yard.
