Mexican palms prefer to be outdoors but you can keep yours happy by growing it indoors during the winter months and letting it bask in the sunshine outdoors during the summer months. Indoors give it bright light and water when the soil begins to dry. You can tell if it needs water by sticking your finger down into the potting soil. If the soil is dry 2 inches below the surface, it's time to water. Good luck with your palm!
