Answer: If you have only recently planted your allamanda, I suspect the problem is transplant shock and with time your plant should adjust and recover. Part of the stress is that the allamanda was probably used to growing in a different exposure to sunshine - that's why the leaves are turning a crispy brown. As soon as the roots become established and the plant develops new stems and foliage, the new leaves will be more adapted to the amount of sun the plant is getting. Just be patient with your plant and try not to overwater. If you keep the soil too moist it can suffocate the roots. So water deeply once or twice a week and it should be able to establish and adjust to the new growing conditions. Good luck with your garden!
