I purchased two Hydrangea bushes and two pink Weigelas last July. I am very new at Gardening, and I recently planted them. Is there any special care that should be taken? And, did I wait to late to plant them? They were kept in their original packing since July of 2008. I keep them watered, since I just planted them. Advice please.

I am not sure whether you purchased live plants or dormant roots. If the plants were live and had green leaves and stems when you planted them, they should adjust to their new locations within a week or two. If you had packaged roots, they should have been planted when you first received them. If this is the case, I don't know whether they will grow for you or not. You can hope for the best and water each one deeply once each week. Let's hope they grow well for you.
