We built two 8x4 ft raised beds - we have squirrels, moles, a dog and cat. We are worried they will get in the garden. We would like to build something around it to protect but dont want to keep beneficials creatures out - What to do?

Moles will probably not invade your raised beds but other critters might. If you are concerned you can build a framework by attaching wooden stakes to the corners of your beds and draping bird netting over the frame. The holes in the netting are large enough to allow insects to find the flowers inside. Anchor the netting to the top of the raised bed and be sure to leave an area that you can open and reach in to do your regular maintenance and harvesting. Good luck with your garden!
